A Journey Inwards with Yve Gould
Yve Gould practices psychotherapy through a refined psychodynamic perspective and using an attachment lens. Her approach embraces the essential elements of trauma-informed therapy, valuing the significance of Polyvagal theory in comprehending the synergy of mind and body in the healing process.
Nurturing Long-Term Therapeutic Relationships
Yve is a strong advocate for the development of lasting therapeutic relationships. These relationships are built on trust, mutual respect, and a shared commitment to personal growth and well-being.
The approach Yve employs is one of guiding individuals in ‘working from the inside out’. This means starting with self-awareness and introspection, understanding one’s own thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and then using this understanding to effect change in one’s interactions with others. It also takes into account the socio-cultural, familial and political context of our lives and values the intergenerational and spiritual nature of our lives as human beings.
